In addition to basic obedience training, we address real-life issues immediately and change unwelcome behaviors more quickly than ever thought possible. By combining training techniques that are simple to follow with real-life distractions, we build a confident, reliable relationship between you and your dog that is not diminished by what’s going on around you. The impact of this training is so incredible that changes in behavior can be observed from the very first session. Within 6-8 weeks, your dog should be ready to go anywhere either on- or off-leash.

Our "Ultimate" basic obedience class is our most popular program, and is perfectly suited to the first-time dog owner. It can also be of great value to the seasoned owner, or for someone who wants to enhance their dog’s performance and acquire new skills and training techniques. We teach basic commands in real-world situations with typical sources of distraction from the very first session, so that your dog will learn to focus his attention entirely on you. Once this level of focus has been achieved, the speed at which your dog can learn is dramatically accelerated.

The Ultimate Training is a two-part behavior modification and basic obedience program.

Part One comprises three, 2-hour educational-training sessions held on consecutive weeks; participation is limited to four (4) dogs with no history of serious aggression.

Part Two comprises weekly, 1-hour group-training sessions held weekly. The group-training sessions offer controlled, real-life training in the context of day-to-day distractions, and are extremely valuable in maximizing your training educations and reinforcing your dog's understanding and compliance.

Due to a variety of unacceptable, and sometimes misinterpreted behaviors, many dogs are banished to a kennel, tied in a yard, physically abused, relinquished to a shelter, or needlessly euthanized. At Canine Magic, we focus on correcting such behaviors by first assessing the situation, educating the owner, then addressing the behavior(s) first, during private lessons if necessary or, within the context of our group sessions, depending upon the issue. We immediately get to the source of the problem, and design a program that will teach you how to control or totally eliminate it.
